Kids On Calton Kindy

Year 10 Early Childhood Studies visited Kids on Calton with activities they have been creating in class. Term 1 focused on development of fine motor skills for 3–4 year olds.

Our students had the opportunity to put their learning into practice, engaging with the children through creative, hands-on experiences designed to support coordination, control, and confidence. It was wonderful to see the enthusiasm, patience, and care shown by our students, as well as the joy and curiosity from the young learners.

A fantastic real-world learning experience for everyone involved, well done Year 10! 👏

We were lucky enough to have 5 musicians from Camerata - Queensland’s chamber orchestra visit Kindy today and play for our group! What a wonderful experience. Thanks to the Queensland government, The Tim Fairfax family foundation and the Gympie Regional Council. It really is wonderful and so important that these cultural experiences come to regional Qld.

Tomorrow is the big day. We are back and will welcome children back to Kindy. Pack your smiles and let’s have a great start to 2025!
