Gymea Pre-Kindergarten Gymea Pre-Kindergarten is a boutique, family-owned childcare centre offering personalised care in a nurturing environment.

With just 39 places, we provide a warm setting where every child is treated like family. We pride ourselves on high quality early childhood education. Come along to our CPR Training.

Our educators recently completed their CPR training, refreshing their skills and knowledge and making sure they’re up to date with the latest information.

It’s so important to keep our brains refreshed and be prepared for anything, especially when it comes to keeping our little ones safe.

We’ve been with them for our last two sessions and honestly can’t fault them. We highly recommend them for your next training and support.

Sensory play is such an important way for young children to explore, discover and learn through their senses. Today, we kept it simple with water and bubbles…easy, fun and full of opportunities for little hands to splash, scoop, pop and explore!

As we continue Friendship Week, we’re also exploring the concepts of respect and kindness. Children are learning to share, take turns, care for one another.

Behind so many of the yummy meals enjoyed at
Gymea Pre-Kindergarten is our wonderful Ms Helena!

Ms Helena helps prepare and serve our fresh fruit and vegetables each day, making sure everything is ready for our children to enjoy. She also takes extra care when preparing allergy meals and individual dietary requirements, ensuring every child’s needs are thoughtfully catered for.

You’ll usually find Ms Helena in our kitchen, busy preparing, chopping, cooking and serving up all the delicious food our children love.

We are so grateful for all the care and love she puts into keeping our little tummies happy and healthy!

Bike Day at Gymea Pre-Kindergarten! ✨🚲

Our carpark was transformed into a little bike track for a morning of riding, exploring and having fun! 🛴🚲

The children had the opportunity to practise their pedalling, steering, balancing and stopping skills while navigating around our carpark track. It was so lovely to see their confidence grow as they rode, challenged themselves and encouraged their friends along the way. 🤍

Today we’re introducing Ms Louise, our wonderful Cert III Educator and valued Sister Service Floater.

Ms Louise supports across all of our Shire services, stepping into different rooms and teams wherever she is needed. Her flexibility and willingness to support our educators make her such an important part of our wider team.

From our babies through to our preschoolers, Ms Louise brings her caring nature, positive energy and dedication to every service she visits. 🫶🏻

Sometimes babies don’t have the words yet, but they are constantly communicating through their expressions, sounds, movements, gestures and emotions.

At Gymea Pre-Kindergarten, we take the time to notice those little messages and respond with warmth, patience and care. Because before children can find their words, they deserve to know that they are heard.

Our Centre Director, Miss Paris, has been part of the Gymea Pre-Kindergarten family for the past 1½ years.

Miss Paris holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Teaching and has been working in the early childhood sector for 13 years. With a genuine passion for children’s learning, development and wellbeing, she is dedicated to creating a nurturing, welcoming and safe environment for every child who walks through our doors.

As our Centre Director and Educational Leader, Miss Paris works closely with our team to ensure children are provided with meaningful learning experiences, strong relationships and opportunities to grow, explore and develop their confidence and independence.

She believes every child is unique, capable and full of potential, and loves creating an environment where children feel safe, valued, heard and encouraged to be themselves ☆

After 13 years in early childhood, Miss Paris continues to be just as passionate about what she does… supporting children, families and educators and helping make Gymea Pre-Kindergarten a special place to learn and grow.
