As we wrap up Literacy and Numeracy Week, we’re excited to share a snapshot of some of the fantastic learning that has been happening across our classrooms at Gwandalan Public School! 🌟

Throughout the week, our students have been busy reading, writing, problem-solving, exploring numbers, thinking creatively and working together. It has been wonderful to see students engaging in learning experiences that build these essential skills in fun and meaningful ways.

A huge thank you to our amazing teachers and support staff who continue to create engaging learning opportunities every day, and to our students for always giving things a go and Aiming High! 💙🖤🤍

📚🔢 National Literacy & Numeracy Week

This week we are celebrating National Literacy and Numeracy Week! 🌟

Literacy and numeracy skills are part of everyday life, and there are lots of simple and fun ways families can support learning at home.

We’ve put together some easy activities for parents and carers to try with their children. Whether it’s playing a word game, reading together, counting while cooking or using maths while shopping, every little opportunity helps build confidence and strengthen important skills.

We encourage you to choose a few activities, have some fun together and celebrate the learning that happens every day, everywhere! 💙📖➕✨
