Well done to all of our competitors in the individual and duo sections of the Gunnedah Speech and Drama Eisteddfod which had taken part over the last 3 days and is concluding tomorrow morning. What a wonderful display of poems, speeches, prose, storytelling and drama it has been. Thank you to our fabulous adjudicator Jill Tucker for her beautiful manner and valuable feedback for all of the entrants and also to our generous sponsors and volunteers who allow the Eisteddfod to run so smoothly and enjoyably. Final thanks to the parents, carers and teachers who support this event and help to ensure its success.

It has been a pleasure, once again.

One act plays provided a great opening section for Speech and Drama at the Gunnedah Eisteddfod this morning with delightful performances from Gunnedah South 1st ( A day in year 5) and Gunnedah Public 2nd ( The story of Tiddalik). Keith McAlpine, right, also helped open the morning session with the Acknowledgement of Country in language.
