This short puppetry film is created using 100% recycled materials and brings discarded objects to life to tell a tender, playful story about belonging. As pieces of “trash” awaken, move, and interact, they search for purpose, connection, and love in a world that has thrown them away. Through humour, movement, and visual storytelling, the film gently invites audiences to reconsider their relationship with waste and consumption. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle is not presented as a slogan, but as a shared responsibility and an act of care. When a puppet made from rubbish comes alive, the question becomes unavoidable: if it can be transformed, what else might we change? The work encourages small, hopeful actions in support of a cleaner, more peaceful environment.
