🌈 2027 Kindergarten Transition – Day 1! 🌈
What a wonderful first day we had with our newest little learners! Our 2027 Kindergarten students had a fantastic time exploring our Kinder room and beginning to make some new friends.
They created beautiful Rainbow Fish artworks, enjoyed plenty of playtime in our beautiful playground with their big school mates, and even joined our Year 1 students for a fun dance lesson with Mrs Smart! 💃🕺
It was wonderful to see so many happy faces as our new Kinders began to feel at home at Gundagai Public School. We are already looking forward to seeing everyone again in two weeks, on Wednesday 23 September!
We can’t wait to continue the fun and get to know our newest GPS students even better! 💙

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ RIVERINA ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS 🏅

Last Friday, nine of our talented athletes travelled to Albury to compete at the Riverina Athletics Championships, and what a fantastic day they had!

Luka Anderson, Courtney Bond, Kara Bond, Sam Hufton, Juliet Kerr, Savanna Kryger, Elsie-Mae Mooney, Ivy Morris, and Abi Pigram all represented Gundagai Public School with pride, determination and enthusiasm.

Our athletes performed outstandingly, with a number of personal bests achieved across the day. Just as importantly, our students demonstrated wonderful sportsmanship, supporting and encouraging others and conducting themselves exceptionally well throughout the competition.

All nine athletes were outstanding ambassadors for Gundagai Public School and their families. We were incredibly proud of the way they represented our school, both on and off the track.

🌟 Congratulations, Claire! 🌟

Today marks 100 days of teaching support for Claire Lindley and the completion of her School Based Apprenticeship and Traineeship (SBAT) with us!

Claire has been absolutely amazing in her role, making a genuine difference to our students and contributing so much to our school. Her enthusiasm, care and commitment have been wonderful to see.

It is particularly special to have a former Gundagai Public School student return to our school with a passion to become a teacher and choose us as a place to develop her skills and further her teaching ambitions.

We are incredibly proud of you, Claire, and excited to see where your teaching journey takes you.

Congratulations on 100 days and the successful completion of your SBAT! 👏🎉
