There’s something so special about first days – new faces, new friendships, and the beginning of a beautiful learning adventure. We can’t wait to watch this little one grow, discover, and thrive as part of our Journey Early Learning Gumdale community.

📚✨ Story time is always a favourite in Kindergarten! Today, the children took the lead as they confidently shared a story with their friends. Through storytelling, children build communication skills, confidence, imagination, and a love of literacy while learning to listen and engage with others. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm as they brought the story to life and shared the joy of reading together. 💜📖🌟

🍎🍌 Fruit-tastic fun! 🎨

After group time, the children explored the room and enjoyed a creative painting experience inspired by fresh fruit. As they painted what they could see, we chatted about healthy food choices and shared our favourite fruits. This engaging activity supported fine motor development, colour recognition, creativity, and language skills. We loved seeing each child's unique artwork come to life! 🌈✨

Junior Toddlers explored creativity and sensory learning as they used natural materials to paint. Using leaves, sticks, and other found treasures, they experimented with texture, colour, and movement while expressing their ideas in a hands-on, open-ended way 🌈⭐️

🐄 What an amazing learning experience! Our children loved exploring farm animals through hands-on play, developing their understanding of where animals live and how they are cared for. Following their curiosity, we’ll be extending our learning by discovering more about life on the farm, animal habitats, sounds, and the important role farm animals play in our everyday lives. We can't wait to see where their learning journey takes us next! 🌾🚜
