GROW WELL - WORKING TOGETHER SAFELY // This term, our focus GROW Value is Working Together Safely.

We can do this by taking turns, sharing and using our manners. It is also helpful to ensure we use equipment safely, and communicate clearly to the groups that we are working in.

We look forward to a fantastic Term 4, where students continue to work together respectfully, safely and collaboratively.

WHOLE SCHOOL ASSEMBLY // We had our final whole school assembly for the term this week, celebrating the achievements and talents of our students.

We recognised our RoboCup participants and Premier’s Reading Challenge winners, unveiled the 2027 Senior Shirt design as voted by our Year 5 students, and enjoyed a fantastic performance of Purple People Eater from our Junior Choir. It was a lovely way to finish our whole school assemblies for the term

Our next Prep to Year 6 assembly will be held on Thursday 8 October, where we look forward to celebrating more of our students and their achievements.

GROW WELL - CULMINATING ACTIVITY // During our birthday celebrations, classes discussed ways in which they are organised and used them to decorate a car. They then placed this car on 'the road to success' in our hall. This provided a great and colourful reminder to students each day before classes start on how to be organised before they head off to start a great day full of learning!

PREP TEDDY BEARS PICNIC // Our Prep students enjoyed a special Teddy Bears’ Picnic this week.

Students danced and sang with their teddy bears, enjoyed morning tea together and took part in a fun scavenger hunt.

The experience also linked beautifully with our English unit on recounts. After the picnic, students orally recounted the event, sequencing and sharing what they did and experienced throughout the morning.

A lovely morning of learning, laughter and lots of teddy bear fun!

JUNIOR ASSEMBLIES // Our Junior Assemblies were a wonderful opportunity to come together and celebrate some of the great things happening across our lower school!

A big congratulations to our Gotcha winners, Ollie, Ryan and Jurnee, and to our Premier’s Reading Challenge winners for the week, Matilda and Maverick.

We also celebrated our latest GROW Well Award recipients, recognising students who have been demonstrating positive character strengths and making a difference in our school community.

A special congratulations to 1W, who did a fantastic job leading us in the National Anthem.

Well done to all of our students who were recognised this week!
