Thank-you, Mrs Sanders from Gulgong Public School for visiting the preschool children today!
Our Transition to School Program is well underway, and experiences such as these help support children in building connections with school teachers and become familiar with the school environment.
Throughout the year, the children will enjoy many more visits from kindergarten teachers, as well as several excursions to the school as part of our program. These valuable experiences help build confidence, foster positive relationships, and support a smooth and successful transition to big school.
We have been working very closely with Gulgong Public School and have a few new ideas for our Transition to School Program this year, as we are always reflecting on and improving our program each year to provide the best possible experiences for our children.
β¨ Stay tuned for some new and exciting experiences/ideas we have been planning alongside with GPS! We canβt wait to share them with you. ππ

4F enjoyed a wonderful day Red Hill Environmental Education Centre as part of their First Nations Living History excursion. As an extension of our class text Bindi, students participated in a range of hands-on cultural experiences, including weaving, creating artworks, and listening to a connection story focused on caring for Country. It was a meaningful opportunity to deepen our understanding of First Nations perspectives, culture, and traditions while making connections to our learning in the classroom. πΏπ§Ίπ¨
