Thinking like innovators at KPMG Australia. πŸ€”

Selected Year 10 students spent the day at KPMG Sydney as part of the ABCN Future Thinkers program, collaborating with students from Chester Hill High School to solve a real-world challenge.

With support and feedback from KPMG mentors, students worked through the design thinking process, developed creative solutions, and presented their ideas at the end of the program. πŸ’‘

They also heard firsthand about the career journeys of KPMG professionals, gaining valuable insights into future pathways and opportunities. πŸ™Œ

Our teachers are lifelong learners and what better way to learn than by visiting Morisset High School. It may have been a long bus ride, but it was well worth the journey. We left inspired after a day filled with meaningful conversations, thoughtful questions, reflections and a deep appreciation for a school we truly respect. Thank you for your generosity and for sharing your knowledge and practices with us.

We love welcoming students from our neighbouring primary schools to Granville South Creative and Performing Arts High School for our Middle Eastern Dabke Ensemble classes!

As a Creative and Performing Arts High School, our CAPA programs provide students with exciting opportunities to develop their talents through selective classes in drama, dance, Middle Eastern dance, drumming, photography and more. It’s always a pleasure to share our passion for the performing arts and inspire the next generation of creative learners.

Our school proudly celebrated NAIDOC Week, honouring the Dharug People and recognising the rich histories, cultures and achievements of First Nations peoples. Throughout the week, students participated in a flag-raising ceremony, yarning circles, Dharug language learning, collaborative art activities, NAIDOC history sessions, and an Aboriginal dance performance. It was a week of learning, connection and celebration that brought our school community together in the spirit of culture and reconciliation.
