STATE REPRESENTATIVE!

A huge congratulations to Jacob, who has earned selection to represent Victoria in Roller Hockey!

In just a few weeks, Jacob will head to Surfers Paradise, Queensland, where he will pull on the Victorian colours and compete at the National Championships.

Earning the opportunity to represent your state is an incredible achievement and a wonderful reward for Jacob’s hard work and dedication to his sport.

Congratulations, Jacob! We are incredibly proud of you and wish you all the very best as you represent Victoria on the national stage!

Footy Colours Day 2026

Footy Colours Day 2026 was a fantastic day, with every class put through their paces by our wonderful Health and Wellbeing Leaders! A huge well done to all eight of them for their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the day, ensuring every session was challenging, engaging and, most importantly, plenty of fun!

The day culminated in one of the most anticipated events on the Nazareth sporting calendar, the annual Staff v Students Showdown! In glorious sunshine, the Students were out of the blocks quickly, booting the opening goal inside the first 30 seconds. The Teachers soon settled, but it was the Students who took a narrow 2.1.13 to 1.3.9 lead into the first change. With the breeze at their backs and a parochial home crowd roaring them on, the Students put their foot down in the second term. They opened up a commanding 17-point advantage by the main break, leading 5.2.32 to 2.3.15. The experienced Teachers weren't finished, though! With the breeze in the third quarter, they began to wear down their younger opponents, holding the Students goalless and creeping back to within just two points at the final change 5.3.33 to 4.7.31. The final quarter was a classic. The Teachers hit the lead, the Students wrestled it back, and the game remained in the balance before the Teachers finally steadied. A couple of crucial late goals sealed a historic 11-point victory, sparking jubilant scenes at the final siren!

Most importantly, across the day our Nazareth community raised $280 for Footy Colours Day, supporting kids with cancer. Thank you to everyone who contributed!

GEELONG WONDER SCHOOLS FESTIVAL
On Monday, our school bands had the fantastic opportunity to perform at the Wonder Schools Festival at Geelong Arts Centre, alongside many other schools showcasing their incredible talents.
Our three bands, The Bright Lights, Fire Born Saints and The Midnight Tones, put on sensational performances in front of a sold-out crowd and represented our school brilliantly.
A huge congratulations to all of our band members for their confidence, energy and enthusiasm. You should all be very proud of what you achieved!

BELMONT SUNDAY MARKET CONCERT
Our Nazareth School bands put on a spectacular show at the Belmont Sunday Market yesterday!

Our three bands: The Midnight Tones, Bright Lights and Fire Born Saints, entertained a fantastic crowd of families, friends and fans in what turned into something of a mini “Day on the Green”!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support our students, and to all of our band members for putting on such an energetic and entertaining performance. You should all be very proud!
