Mandama Primary School is a dynamic and exciting school in the expanding Geelong suburbs of Grovedale and Waurn Ponds area. The school caters for children from Prep to Year 6, with an enrolment of approximately 480 students. Mandama is located in near proximity to local pre-schools, post-primary schools and Deakin University. Initially established in 1979 in Mandama Avenue Grovedale, the present a

rchitecturally designed school was built in Corang Avenue during 1987 and is set in delightful landscaped gardens incorporating both active and passive play areas. Mandama provides outstanding educational facilities that encourage learning to take place in a supportive and caring environment. Mandama’s motto of ‘Learning for Life’ underpins our endeavours each day to prepare our students by offering a broad curriculum that caters for their individual learning needs, where personal best is valued and achievement is recognised. Mandama is proud to announce we were successful in becoming an eSmart School in October 2014!

In Digi Tech over the last couple of weeks our Preps having been exploring the difference between hardware and software, looking at different OSMO apps on the iPad. We started working in pairs but as their confidence has grown they have branched to working independently and choosing which of the apps they wish to explore more.

A cheeky glimpse of our stars preparing for the two live performances in the John Cain Arena on Saturday 29th August. I can’t stress enough what a great family show this is, I’d highly recommend grabbing tickets when they’re realised, I’ll keep you posted!

This week, our Victorian State School Spectacular students attended their second training day with the VSSS choreography team. They still have many more hours of practice before their two live shows in the John Cain Arena, in Melbourne, in late August.
