On Monday 17 August and Tuesday 18 August, students from Years 7 to 11 travelled to Sacred Heart Parish, Griffith, to experience The Man of the Shroud Replica Exhibit. It featured a full-scale, museum-quality replica of the Shroud of Turin, believed by millions to be the authentic burial cloth of Jesus Christ. This powerful display brings faith, history, and modern forensic science together. Students explored detailed photographic panels, historical context, and decades of scientific research. Our students were invited to examine the evidence, reflect and ponder the question “Who is the Man of the Shroud?”

Senior students from Marian Catholic College successfully launched a "Share What You Can" Food Drive as part of a wellbeing for the community initiative led by the Student Wellbeing Committee.

All donations were distributed to St Vincent de Paul and Linking Communities Network (LCN), the lead agency in the region that also supports the Women's Refuge and Youth Refuge. These organisations provide vital frontline services and ensure that the donated goods reach individuals and families most in need.

A number of students are crossing the road unsafely near the site of the abovementioned roadworks. These behaviours present a significant risk to students and other road users.

It is a reminder to all students to use the designated pedestrian route via Macarthur Street and Wakaden Street. Traffic controllers are on site and will guide students safely through the work zone using the temporary footpath.

The attached Traffic Management Plan shows the approved pedestrian access routes during the construction period.
