Position Vacant – Early Childhood EDUCATOR
Certificate III or Diploma
Part-time (permanent)
16 hours per week/2 days per week – Thursday and Friday
(There would also be an opportunity for ‘relief’ work on other days during the week)

This role requires a creative and passionate Early Childhood Educator to work as an active team member in providing high quality education and care. This is a great opportunity for Early Childhood professionals to be involved with a supportive team and with like-minded educators who believe in children and the importance of Early Childhood and the value it adds to children’s lives.

The Eligible applicant must:
• Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education – (ACECQA approved qualification – https://www.acecqa.gov.au/qualifications/nqf-approved
• Hold a valid Working with Children Check
• Hold a current First Aid Training HLTAID012; CPR, Emergency Anaphylaxis and Asthma
• Hold a completed Child Protection Training – CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025 with recent ‘refreshers’

• Excellent written, computer and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment, as well as being able to demonstrate initiative and have the added ability to work independently where needed

• Commitment to inclusion and equity and cultural responsiveness
• Commitment to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and perspectives into the program

• Be creative, open-minded, confident and imaginative and of course, passionate about Early Childhood Education and Care.
