A little update next Tuesday the 25th of August Heather and Katie will be heading to Sydney Town hall to represent Kindylane at the NSW training awards. This award is a recognition of all the hard work and support that the staff, our community, families and child put into the service. We are now one of three finalists up for Small Employer of the year for the entirety of New South Wales!!

Win or loose this is an amazing achievement for our local community. We can not thank everyone enough for trusting the service for over 70 years to nurture young minds and build the future leaders of society🩷

Griffith Preschool Kindergarten has been selected as a State Finalist in the 2026 NSW Training Awards Skills NSW – Small Employer of the Year! 🎉This recognition reflects our commitment to supporting and developing the next generation of early childhood educators through quality training, mentoring, and workplace learning opportunities.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible families, staff, trainees, board members, and the wider Griffith community. Your ongoing support, encouragement, and belief in what we do make achievements like this possible. Together, we are creating opportunities that strengthen not only our service but the future of early childhood education in our community.

We are incredibly proud to represent Griffith and the Riverina region at the State Awards in Sydney this August.

It was so great to meet with you all and share new ideas 🫶

One of the things we value most at Leeton Preschool is the opportunity to learn from others and build strong connections within our early childhood community.

This week, some of our team travelled to Griffith to spend time with the amazing team at Kindylane Community Preschool. Days like these are so incredibly valuable. They give us the chance to share ideas, celebrate what’s working, talk openly about the challenges we all face, and learn from one another. It’s a wonderful reminder that we’re all working towards the same goal – giving children the very best start in life.

A heartfelt thank you to Heather and the entire Kindylane team for so generously welcoming us into your preschool. We are so grateful for your hospitality, your openness, and your willingness to share your knowledge and experiences with us.

We came away feeling inspired, refreshed, and even more connected to the incredible community of early childhood educators around us.

🌿 Professional Learning at ECTARC Regenerate Conference 🌿

Over the past two days, some of our leadership team and educators travelled to Wagga to attend the ECTARC Regenerate Conference, where they had the opportunity to learn, connect, and be inspired by fellow early childhood professionals.

We are especially proud of our Director, Heather, who presented on the development of our new outdoor learning space, sharing our journey and the impact it has had on children's learning and wellbeing. 🌸

Professional learning opportunities like these strengthen our knowledge, inspire new ideas, and help us continue providing the highest quality education and care for the children and families in our community. 💚

The children have loved being involved in the process, helping to explain the different areas and sharing their favourite parts of this amazing new environment.

A huge thank you to The Tradie Ladies Construction & Design & Design for all your hard work, dedication, and creativity. You are truly amazing at what you do, and we are so grateful for everything you have done to bring this space to life! 💚

We would also like to extend a big thank you to all the local trades and businesses who have supported us throughout this process. Your hard work, kindness, and generosity have not gone unnoticed. We truly appreciate the time, care, and effort you have contributed to creating such a special space for our children. 🌱

Kindylane is taking part in National Pyjama Day in the first week of Term 3! 💤

We’re wearing our PJs to raise funds for The Pyjama Foundation, helping children in foster care build confidence, stability, and a brighter future through “Pyjama Angel” mentors.
