Our 7-8 Premiers Debating Team took on Hillston last week. They were arguing against banning sports involving animal cruelty, and despite some thoughtful arguments and giving their best in rebuttals, they weren't quite able to get the result.

One of our talented Year 12 students, Emma, performed at the Muso's Ball on Friday night. As the winner of the Young Musician of the Year for 2026, she was the opening act of the night.

As part of Bullying, No Way! Week, the SRC handed out Kindness Treats, which had a message conveying the impact that can be made by one small gesture.

At lunchtime on Thursday, as part of Science Week, some of our students headed down to the Ag Plot with Mr Duncan to create some bombs, which are sure to add some colour wherever they are planted.

Industrial Technology: Metal is next up in our Year 9 Elective selection video series, with Mr Dollin giving us the rundown on the benefits of picking the course, as well as the projects that you will be creating.

Last Wellness Wednesday, students enjoyed a relaxing rock painting activity in the Wellbeing Hub. We were lucky to have support from Bunnings, Tammy and headspace Griffith , who helped make the activity a great success.

It was a wonderful opportunity for students to get creative, connect with others and take some time out to focus on their wellbeing. A big thank you to everyone who supported the day

Our Year 12 Enterprise Computing class gave their presentations on Tuesday morning as part of their major projects.

Months of hard work were presented to the class, with their fellow students able to ask questions about their methods.

As part of the National Week of Action Against Bullying, our SRC held a bake sale to raise money for the Dolly's Dream Foundation and encouraged students and teachers to wear something blue.
