Celebrating Father’s Day at St Joseph’s

There was a wonderful sense of community at St Joseph’s this morning as we welcomed fathers, grandfathers and the special men in our students’ lives for our Father’s Day Breakfast.

Sharing breakfast together provided a special opportunity to celebrate the important role these men play in the lives of our children and to enjoy the simple pleasure of time spent together as a school community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to those who helped make the morning possible.

We wish all the fathers, grandfathers and significant men within our St Joseph’s community a very happy Father’s Day.

Celebrating Those Who Make a Difference

During School Administrative and Support Staff Recognition Week, we take the opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable people whose contribution helps shape each day at St Joseph’s.

Their work can be seen in countless ways - in the warm welcome extended to our families, the care shown to our students, the support provided to our teachers, and the many details that keep our school running so smoothly.

Their professionalism, generosity and commitment reflect the very best of our St Joseph’s community.

This week, and always, we thank our administrative and support staff for the important part they play in the life of our school.

We are getting excited to celebrate all the wonderful dads, grandfathers, carers and special father figures in our St Joseph’s community this Friday! 💙

📅 Friday 4th September
🥓 Father’s Day Breakfast from 8.15 am

☕ We are also excited to have the Unwind in Grenfell Coffee Van joining us for the morning, with delicious coffees, hot chocolates and more available to purchase! The perfect addition to our Father’s Day brekkie. ☕️🥰

🎁 FATHER’S DAY STALL
Students will have the opportunity during the day to choose and purchase a special gift for Dad, Grandad or someone special.

Gifts range from $1-$8. Please send your child’s money in an envelope or zip-lock bag clearly labelled.

Celebrating Achievement at Assembly

Our Whole School Assembly provided a wonderful opportunity to recognise the achievements, character and contributions of our students.

Year 5/6 took to the stage with a highly entertaining class item, stepping into the role of news reporters and bringing plenty of humour to the afternoon.

Congratulations to all students who received awards, recognising their effort, achievement and positive contribution to school life.

A special highlight was the presentation of the Catherine McAuley Medal to Arya. As the citation was shared, our community heard of the many ways Arya consistently demonstrates the qualities and values embodied by Catherine McAuley.

The assembly also marked a St Joseph’s first, with Jack becoming the inaugural recipient of the Gold Principal’s Award.

Congratulations to all those recognised - a wonderful celebration of our students and all they bring to St Joseph’s.
