First Aid Training to You

We had a small group of school children come through our Sub Centre on my last shift. Because it’s never too early to educate our kids on what “to do” in an emergency.

I’ve been out doing two shifts this week as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer. It’s such a privilege to don the green uniform 😊

I had an amazing day yesterday as part of the Simulated Training Experience at the Toodyay Agricultural Show. One vehicle. Two patients. Volunteer fire fighters were also involved. It was a great experience practising our trauma skills.

As we head into the 2nd Semester of 2022, my diary is quickly filling up. So if you need First Aid Training, let me know so that we can lock a date into my training diary 👍🏻

As part of my training as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer, I completed my Emergency Medical Assistant over the past two weekends. Feeling accomplished but exhausted 😊

I have just returned home from 2 day shifts as a Volunteer Ambulance Officer in Toodyay. What an amazing experience. I learnt so much and am so looking forward to my next shifts 👍🏻

So… over the weekend, I completed my Emergency Medical Responder Qualification through St John’s Ambulance as I am training to become a Volunteer Paramedic out of Toodyay. I particularly enjoyed Driving the Ambulance Under Organisational Conditions. It was so much fun 😊

At South Metropolitan TAFE today. Day 2 of 4 days of First Aid Training. 2E students completing their First Aid as part of their apprenticeships in Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration 👍🏻
