🔬Last week was Science Week, and Ms S and our students were buzzing with excitement! This year’s theme was “Seeds,” giving us the perfect opportunity to explore the vital role seeds play in our environment and their importance in supporting local biodiversity 🌱

Ms S was also delighted to introduce our partnership with Green Adelaide through the SEEDS program, which helps protect and promote local native plants. To celebrate the theme, each student investigated native flowering seeds, planted their own, and took their potted plants home to nurture their very own native gardens. 🌿

The much-anticipated Science Week competition was launched, and many students are already keen to invent or research a tree, considering how its seeds are dispersed, its special adaptations, and its interactions within the environment.
A big thank you to everyone who helped make Science Week such a wonderful success!

❤️ The Wrinkled Heart Activity – Class 305 ❤️

This week,305 took part in the Wrinkled Heart Activity, exploring how our words and actions can impact others.

As students discussed unkind words, exclusion and hurtful behaviours, they wrinkled a paper heart. When they tried to smooth it out, the wrinkles remained, a powerful reminder that even when we apologise, our words and actions can leave a lasting mark.

A meaningful lesson about thinking before we speak, including others and choosing kindness every day. ❤️

🏛️ Year 3/4 Wax Museum

History came to life as our students transformed into influential figures for our Wax Museum!

Families were treated to creative costumes, impressive displays and fascinating presentations as students shared what they had learned while staying in character.

We are so proud of the creativity, research and confidence shown by every student. What a fantastic showcase of their learning! ⭐
