As part of our commitment to children's health and wellbeing, we offer a sport program every Monday! AMIGA has developed a strong partnership with Academy Time, who help deliver an incredible sport and music program across all AMIGA centre's.

As of term 3, Academy Time will be rolling out a Martial Arts Program at Greenvale every Monday! If your child does not attend on a Monday, book in an extra day in order for your child to join in on the fun! 🥋💪

Our children have been busy discovering the Montessori activity: Insets for Design. A beautiful activity that supports the development of fine motor skills, concentration, creativity, and early writing readiness. ✍️📝

Using a variety of geometric shapes, children carefully trace, design, and create their own unique artwork while strengthening pencil control and hand-eye coordination. As they explore patterns, lines, and shapes, they are also building the foundational skills needed for future writing and drawing.

It's wonderful to see the focus, confidence, and imagination that emerge through this purposeful Montessori activity. 🌟

🌿🖤💛❤️ Reconciliation Week at AMIGA Montessori Greenvale ❤️💛🖤🌿

Our children celebrated Reconciliation Week through meaningful art and craft experiences using natural materials. Across all classrooms, children explored creativity while learning about respect, connection to Country, and the importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

Together, we continue to foster understanding, inclusion, and respect in our learning community.

At AMIGA Montessori Greenvale, we love celebrating birthdays the Montessori way 🎂🌏✨

During a morning circle, our birthday child walked around the “Sun” holding the globe — representing one journey around the sun and one year of growth, learning, and discovery. As each orbit was completed, we sang the song- the Earth goes around the Sun, helping the children understand the passage of time in a meaningful and concrete way.

The Montessori birthday celebration is a beautiful tradition that honours each child’s unique journey while fostering gratitude, connection, and respect within our classroom community. 💛

At AMIGA Montessori Greenvale we love welcoming families and community members into our learning environment to share their passions and skills with our children. ✨

A big thank you to Shane from for visiting our Kindergarten children and leading an exciting sport and movement session! ⚽🏈
Through active play, team work and movement the children build confidence, coordination and had so much fun staying active together.

Parent and community involvement helps strengthen children's sense of belonging and creates meaningful connections within within our centre community. We are so grateful for these special experiences and the joy they bring to our children's learning.

During Montessori circle time, children engage in hands-on experiences that encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. These shared learning opportunities help build confidence while creating a strong sense of community within the classroom ✨

Through inquiry topic circle time, children are invited to ask questions, share ideas, and explore topics guided by their natural curiosity. These discussions inspire critical thinking, creativity, and deeper understanding as children learn from both educators and each other 🌎💭

Circle time is where learning comes alive through conversation, exploration, and connection 🌱
