Everything feels uncertain right now.
Here's what I'm finding underneath it.

For months I've watched things dissolve before they root.
Ideas I pour love into. Income that usually flows, that suddenly doesn't.
A role I've held for years, quietly reshaping itself under me.

I keep waiting for it to make sense.
For a lesson I can file under "growth," so the ground stops moving.
But I'm not the only one.

A surgeon driving ride share between shifts.
A friend rebuilding after a business closing broke more than the business. Someone I love losing the person their whole life was built around, no warning, no map.

I don't think this is unrelated bad luck.
Something bigger is moving through all of us right now, and we're each meeting it our own way, in our own season, carrying our own particular thing we're being asked to release.

So who am I, in that?
What's actually mine to carry, and what have I just been holding out of habit?

Because "nothing lasts" isn't proof something's broken.
It's just true. It's always been true.
What's different is how many of us are feeling it all at once, in the parts of life we'd quietly agreed to treat as fixed.

The flatness isn't me doing this wrong. It's grief, for a certainty that was never actually solid. It just used to feel that way.
And underneath the grief, something quieter:

A groundedness that isn't rented from external circumstances holding still.
Not one that depends on the income landing, or the world calming down. One that doesn't need the map finished before you're allowed to take a step.

I don't think we're being asked to become someone new.
I think we're being asked to let go of the version of us working so hard to force certainty into places that were never going to hold it.
To become adept at residing here, in the middle, without needing it to resolve first.

If you're watching something dissolve before it roots too: you're not doing it wrong. You're not the only one standing here asking what's actually mine to hold, and what am I only gripping because letting go feels scarier.

I don't have a tidy answer.
I'm inside the question with you.
Tell me in the comments what's dissolving for you right now.

xx

Some people don't even realise they are holding on, gripping, grasping.
But if you do realise;
You're not gripping this because you're weak or petty or stubborn as a stand alone reason.

Some part of you believes that if your hand opens, you lose control of the outcome. That's the actual belief underneath the grip.
Not laziness.
Not failure to move on.

Researchers had people simply rehearse a grudge in their minds. Nothing more. Heart rate spiked. Blood pressure spiked. Muscle tension spiked.
Then the exercise ended. People moved on to something else.
Their bodies didn't. Heart rate and stress response stayed elevated well into the recovery period.

Your mind moved on. Your nervous system stayed braced.
That's biology treating an unfinished story like an unfinished threat.

Try this, right where you are.
Pause.
Name what's gripping. Jaw. Shoulders. Breath.
Just notice it. Nothing to fix yet.
That's rung one of seven.
The rest of the ladder, and the audio that walks you through the full release, lives inside The Letting Go Codes.

Your body isn't asking you to decide you're okay with it.
It's asking for permission to stop bracing for something that is in the past.

✨She came to me ready to talk about her goals.
✨The big stuff. What she wanted next.

We started with boundaries instead.
Not because it's glamorous.
Honestly, it's a subject I sometimes skip past — it's been covered from every angle, feels almost too obvious to name.
But she didn't have a real relationship with the concept for herself.
Her own family believed they had more say over her life than she did. Somewhere along the way, she'd taught the people around her that this was fine.

✨If any of this sounds familiar, you're not alone:

✨Saying yes when your whole body is saying no
✨Feeling guilty for wanting privacy, time, or space that's yours
✨Noticing certain people always seem to get their way with you
✨A quiet resentment building that you can't quite name or justify

None of this happened overnight.
It builds — quietly, reasonably, one small self-abandonment at a time — until you look up one day and realise you've taught the world exactly how much of you it can have.

Because here's the thing about boundaries: they're not really about the other person. They're how you know and honour yourself. Every time you drop one, you're not just letting someone else off the hook — you're teaching yourself that you can't be trusted to hold your own line.

And somewhere underneath the people-pleasing, she already knew this. She just hadn't been asked to look at it directly.

The clarity work is the doorway to the courage work.

This is exactly the territory we move through in the Spiral Process: Deep Container — a 10-session journey (1 set-up session, 7 Spiral Clearing sessions, 2 integration sessions) where we go beneath the pattern to what's actually running it, so you're not just managing the symptom, you're changing your relationship to yourself.

Boundaries aren't rigidity. They're guide rails. And you get to decide what yours are.

A Mystic Mumma full moon message.

dearest hearts~

as the winds of change are blowing we are growing, unraveling more of our own elemental, sovereign, idiosyncratic, wild and free range selves...

as i was tuning into the essence of our FULL MOON in AQUARIUS on July 29th, the word maverick kept coming to me...

and when i looked up the definition it said "an unbranded range animal," for it turns out the term comes from a 19th-century American cattle rancher named Samuel Maverick who, unlike other cattle ranchers of his time, refused to brand his calves...

any unbranded calve became known as a "maverick" and over time, the word evolved to describe any person who refuses to be "branded" or labeled by society...

it is also defined as : an independent individual who does not go along with a group or party, and this does seem to encapsulate the essence of the AQUARIUS archetype...

whose vision stretches beyond black or white thinking and whose visionary outlook can hold the paradox...

SUN + JUPITER in LEO (happy birthday to our beloved LEO kin!) are boosting and empowering our heart courage to inspire us to express more of who we uniquely are so that we can roam more freely...

our free inspires others to get a little more free...

we're all WEIR(D).

and like my sis Cree always says, "God Bless the Freaks," the rebels, the freethinkers, those who follow their own North Star...

and speaking of the North, the NORTH NODE, which is our collective evolutionary North Star, has now moved into AQUARIUS...

so these AQUARIAN energies are precisely what we all collectively are moving toward...

these energies are about allowing ourselves to see the unique role we each play within the whole and being supported within the web of our communities...

it is not about going at it alone but rather coming together to collaborate with a greater purpose...

with the SOUTH NODE now LEO, we will be moving away from the need for validation and applause and shifting away from "how will this serve me?" to "how can i use my skills to help serve our people, our communities, our more-than-human kin, our planet?"

our FULL MOON in AQUARIUS will be rising with the tides of change, bringing us to the shores of our upcoming eclipses...

come tune in with us~

with all my love~

Letting go of the stories we are holding onto about certain things and the emotions those stories are fuelled by isn't about turning your back on what matters.

It isn't about, bypassing emotions that we really do need to be visited by.

Letting go is about, having a mindful relationship with the concept of letting go.

It's not really a tool we are taught in school or anywhere in our daily functioning, unless someone introduces us to the concept of 'letting go'.

'Letting go' is an internal act of releasing what we are holding in our mind and body. A big part of this process is being awake and aware to what we are holding in our emotions and inner stories and how they are impacting our life and the lives of those around us.

A little process to try:
What am I feeling, if I tap into my body and my mind and the internal dialogue running in my own mind? Try naming the story and the emotions.

How is this serving me? Is it leading me to my growth and to my best life? Is there a lesson here for me?

What can I let go of? What story or way of looking at something or reaction habit can I consciously choose to release my grip from? Let go of?

What benefits does it bring to my life? To build a relationship with the art of 'letting go'?

I'm not claiming this is the only tool we will ever need, but, it is a deeply profound tool once we build a relationship with it.

Noticing and naming the story and the emotions.
Asking the art of 'letting go' what is it time for me to release my grip from?

And seeing how deep some of the tentacles of a story we grip to can run through our life.

Changing the way we tell a story can completely free us from so much unnecessary hardship.

Wishing you all a very peaceful and loving week.

She came to me stuck in two places at once; her work, and her family.
Two of her biggest values, both feeling like they'd lost their shape.
Underneath both was grief she hadn't fully processed. Complicated grief.
The kind that doesn't stay where it started, it crept into her creativity, into how she moved through her own home, into how she showed up for the people she loved.

She wasn't sure what to expect going in.
She was hoping for insight, for tools she could keep using long after our sessions ended. She wanted to be challenged — held accountable, guided somewhere deeper than she could get to alone.
That's exactly what she got.
"This was where Ros really challenged me and I couldn't hide or deflect; which has been a habit for a long time."

The spiralling anxiety that had been quietly costing her time and energy started to loosen. Self-forgiveness; and forgiveness for a parent she'd lost, took a dark thread out of everywhere it had been touching her life.
Her house is full of family photos again.
Her creativity is back online.
And her own words say it better than I can:
"It is enlightening to be able to stop, breathe and get in touch with your feelings to see things in a new light."

It's 3:47am and you're wide awake seemingly for no reason you can point to.
Nothing's wrong as such.
I can fully relate because, it happened to me last night.

You made the right call yesterday, everyone on the team (mostly) agreed, you moved straight into the next meeting because that's what the day needed from you, and by every measure everything you met through the day, was handled.
Except your body, it never got told it's ok to stand down.

Lying here now, the decisions, the calls, the pressure of taking responsibility, is still awake in your body.
Not because you doubt your choices and decisions. Its just that the internal pressure and energy it takes to show up consistently, is still with you.
The same way yesterday's decision was still with you the day before, and the one before that.

You wouldn't call this stress.
That word's too soft, too generic for what's actually happening.
If anyone asked, you'd probably just say you've been busy.
Because, when you're the one everyone else answers to: the deal gets recorded, the call gets logged, the problem gets marked 'resolved' — responsibilities are being met, there is a weight you carry and a cost it bears to not have an outlet.

What does it actually cost you to sit in that role of decision maker, responsibility carrier with no where dedicated to defusing the build up?
That part, the internal build up that comes from holding up the responsibilities day after day goes nowhere.
There's no file for it.
Nobody's asking how you're holding up under the weight of it, because nothing about the role was ever built to ask that question in the first place.
And it's not that you haven't tried to talk about it.

You've spoken to your spouse. Your business partner. A mate over a beer or a round of golf. All of that mattered, genuinely. But none of it has reached the part of you that's still lying here awake right now, three hours before you need to be up again.

If a decision from three days ago is still sitting with you, and some part of you already knows it shouldn't still be there — that's not a sign something's wrong with you. It's a sign that nothing in your role was ever designed to support you in letting it go. Defusing the pressure that accumulates.

That's exactly what Wingman exists for.
One place, for people who spend every day carrying what everyone else gets to hand off.

Not therapy, not another meeting to fit into the week — somewhere the decisions and concerns and overthinking actually gets to land, instead of just getting filed away until tomorrow's version shows up.

04/07/2026

I've been sitting with a question about a man I know, and I don't think I'm going to land on an answer — I just want to think out loud about it.

He's been in decline for about a decade now. It started around a brutal divorce, and since then his life has been closing in around him, quite literally. His house, his yard, his car — full. What looks like junk to anyone walking past is, to him, useful. Valuable, even. I actually think there might be a real intelligence in there somewhere — an eye for what has worth when everyone else sees waste. But whatever that gift once was, he's now living underneath it instead of in it.

What I keep wondering is: what is he actually trapped in?

Is it the dopamine hit of the collect — that small hit of "yes, this one's good" that costs nothing and asks nothing of him, in a life where everything else has asked too much?
Is it a nervous system that got so overloaded by grief it found one thing it could control absolutely — what comes into the house, what gets kept — when everything else about his life felt like it was taken from him?
Is it a negativity bias that's been left to run unchecked for so long it's not a mood anymore, it's the operating system?
Every year deepening the groove.

Here's the part that unsettles me most: none of us can offer him logic that lands.
Reason doesn't touch it.
Guidance doesn't touch it.
And I don't think that's because he's stubborn or doesn't care.
I think it's because the very part of a person that would normally reach for help — that would look at their life and go "I need something different" — might be the exact part that's been worn down by all of this.
You can't think your way out of a pattern that has quietly disabled your thinking.

So what is it like, on the inside, to be him?
To maybe even see it — the weight of it, the way people are looking at you differently now — and still not be able to move?
I imagine it's not defiance.
I imagine it's more like being caught in a rip. You can see the shore.
You just can't get purchase on anything that would get you there.

His friends are helpless watching this.
That's real, and it's its own grief.
But I keep coming back to him.
What is actually happening in there.
What is he bathing in, that a decade hasn't diluted.
What would it take — not for someone to convince him, but for something in him to finally have enough safety, or enough exhaustion with the old way, that reaching out to real support becomes possible at all.

I don't have a neat ending for this one.
I just think we talk a lot about people who won't get help like it's a failure of will, and I'm not sure that's what it is.
I think sometimes it's a mind that got hijacked a long time ago by something that made sense in the moment — control, comfort, distraction from grief — and never got the support to unhook from it.

If you recognise this in someone you love, or in yourself, I don't think shouting louder is the thing that reaches it. I think it's way slower than that. It's much like surviving the rip, one part of that is to decide, to choose that you are going to survive and then to move with it as opposed to swimming against it.
