As part of Neighbourhood House Week 2026, we're hosting a fun, high-energy Free Drum Circle Session tomorrow and absolutely no experience is needed!

Led by Dave, our expert drummer and vibe-bringer, you'll be guided through simple rhythms in a relaxed and supportive space. Every participant gets a drum or percussion instrument provided!

Expect laughter, uplifting energy and the incredible feeling of making music together as a community. 🎶

Celebrate Mother’s Day with us at this enjoyable 2-hour workshop, where you’ll create your own bespoke floral hatbox arrangement, either to take home or gift to someone special.

Perfect for beginners, this relaxed session provides step-by-step guidance from a friendly tutor, making it easy and enjoyable for everyone. Treat yourself, your mum, Grandma or any special mother figure in your life – or better yet, bring your mum along and enjoy the experience together!

The cost includes all flowers, materials, an instruction sheet and guidance from a friendly tutor. Once your arrangement is complete, unwind and enjoy a Devonshire tea and take a moment to admire your lovely creation.

📢 $100 Power Saving Bonus Now Available!

If you hold a concession card, you may be eligible to receive a one-off $100 payment to help with energy bills. This is part of the Victorian Government’s Power Saving Bonus program, aimed at easing cost-of-living pressures.

Here’s what you need:
• A recent residential electricity bill (and you must be the account holder)
• One of the eligible concession cards
• A secondary ID (e.g. Medicare card, driver’s license) for verification

You can apply in person at our centre and we’ll help you through the process.

Join us on Friday 5 September, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at DVLC for our Father’s Day Flower Presentation Box Workshop. It’s a relaxed, hands-on session where you’ll create a beautiful gift box of fresh flowers for Dad.

All materials are included, bring a small bottle to add to your presentation box if you want to personalise the gift. Kids are welcome (with supervision if under 16), and no experience is needed. Just come along and enjoy the morning!
