🤖 AI adopters aren’t cutting jobs, they’re creating them.

Research from CSIRO found that companies adopting AI are not shedding workers. According to researcher Dr Claire Mason, companies across the board are increasing their hiring and those adopting AI did it at a faster rate.

National data of online job advertisements from more than 4,000 companies was used in the research. AI-adopting first posted 36% more non-AI job ads over the time than non-adopting firms.

For career educators, these insights are important and highlight the need to monitor and continue reviewing labour market trends in line with the new 2026 CICA standards.
