Exploring nature and art 🍁🎨

Using autumn leaves and a variety of natural materials, the 3YO children have been creating unique pastings, and extending their art pieces by adding water paint. Some children brought materials from home, whilst others explored the outdoor space to find them.
We think they are just lovely 🧡

We kicked off Harmony Week with a lovely parent coming into Kinder to teach some of the children how to make PASTA 🍝🇮🇹🤤
The children worked as a team to make the pasta dough, and each had a turn at using the pasta machine to make spaghetti and fettuccine. A delicious way to celebrate 🧡

Recently our 3YO group read the story of Wombat Stew, which sparked lots of ideas about creating our own stews at Kinder 🥘

The children suggested ingredients that we could gather, made a poster to invite family contributions, and were so excited to return to Kinder with some natural treasures.
Since then, the mud kitchen has been busy with imaginative stew creations, inspired by their ideas and ingredients from home ✨🌿🌻🥄

The children filled their hearts with drawings and watercolour paintings of all the things they love most. An exploration of identity, belonging, and what makes their hearts feel full 🥰
