The Southport School made the trip out to Greenmount State School last Friday to commemorate the relationship between the schools and the man who formed it; Joffre Bell👩‍🏫🧑‍💻

We popped into the BJMMA Muay Thai Club run in the Greenmount Returned Soldier's Hall every second Sunday to see what this bustling little club is all about 🤼‍♂️🥇

On Friday we welcomed The Southport School at Greenmount State School as the two schools share our 125th this year. During the visit we remembered Mr Joffre Bell and shared our love of learning, care shown by teachers and the friendship made between our schools. We thank TSS for the generous gift of a beautiful friendship bench. We will plant an Olive tree to represent a lasting symbol of the friendship between our schools. Happy 125th Southport School.
