🌻 Did you know? Many disabilities aren’t immediately apparent.

Autism, ADHD, anxiety, hearing loss, chronic pain, diabetes, Crohn’s and hundreds more can be non-visible.

Globally, 1 in 6 people live with a disability, and up to 80% of disabilities are non-visible.

The Sunflower gives people a simple way to discreetly signal that they may need a little more time, help or understanding.

Wearing the Sunflower can help make everyday experiences feel a little easier, more accessible and inclusive. 💛

Today, our students had the opportunity to participate in two fantastic workshops delivered by Tyson Day, from Arrive and Thrive, designed to build confidence, curiosity and the skills needed for an evolving world of work.

Year 9 students explored how to identify and communicate their skills, develop a personal brand and create their employment pitch.

Year 11 students explored how AI is transforming careers and industries, how they can use AI to support their career development, and the human skills that will remain essential in the future.

A huge thank you to Tyson Day for delivering such engaging, practical and thought-provoking sessions and inspiring our students to think confidentiality about their future.

National Science Week in Inclusive Education!
Our students spent the day diving into hands‑on science challenges aligned with this year’s theme, “Seeds of Science: Nurturing Knowledge for All.”

They launched bottle rockets, created fossils, powered circuits with veggies, experimented with surface tension, explored chromatography, made Makey Makey music, investigated water sanitation and enjoyed exciting science demos.

A huge thank you to Mrs Borg, whose organisation and enthusiasm made this day possible for our students.

We’re so proud of their curiosity, teamwork and joy for learning.
