Year 7 and 8 PDHPE classes are currently engaged in a skill acquisition unit in gymnastics.

It is awesome to see students setting and achieving their personal learning goals in movement, in which we have so many gifted and talented athletes. We look forward to an outstanding unit of study for all students.

HPGE PORTRAITURE EXCURSION

Our Year 8 High Potential and Gifted Education students recently had a meaningful experience during their Portraiture excursion to Dougherty Villa. 🎨💛

Students interviewed residents, created heartfelt sketches inspired by their stories, and then had the opportunity to present their finished portraits back to the residents.

This wonderful experience extended our HPGE students beyond the classroom, combining creative expression with social-emotional learning. It gave students the opportunity to develop their art skills while building confidence, empathy and meaningful connections across generations.

We are proud to offer our HPGE students these valuable extracurricular experiences that encourage them to explore their creativity, connect with their community and grow as young people.
