βš‘πŸ”‹ Future sparkies and renewable energy experts in the making! πŸ”‹βš‘

Students from South Grafton High School and Woolgoolga High School recently visited TAFE NSW Grafton for the RIEP Electrical/Renewables Taster program.

During the day, students explored electrical and renewable energy industries through hands-on activities, including DC circuits, the Future Skills Truck, Lexar learning kits, and VR technology.

It was great to see students developing new skills, exploring career pathways, and gaining insight into the technologies shaping the future.

A big thank you to everyone involved in making the day a success! πŸ‘

Yesterday was International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples. We’re celebrating the people who help make TAFE NSW a supportive, culturally rich, and inclusive place to work and study. 🌏✨

For Donna Martin, a proud Torres Strait Islander woman living, working, and volunteering on Bundjalung Country in Grafton, connection is at the heart of her daily interactions.

Over the past five years, Donna has supported students and teachers through her role in Education Administration Support, while working as part of a virtual team that gives her the flexibility to work from home or connect from campus.

For Donna, it’s the mix of people, cultures, and experiences - including her own roots in Papua New Guinea - that makes her team so welcoming.

β€œI love the freedom, the variety, and the huge amount of diversity in my team,” Donna said. ⭐

At TAFE NSW Grafton, we’re proud to foster a campus where people feel supported to contribute, grow, and thrive. 🌱 🌿

Last week, we celebrated the return to campus for Semester 2 at TAFE NSW Grafton, and what a great day it was!

Students and staff enjoyed live entertainment provided by our talented performers, games in the courtyard, and a delicious nacho lunch. It was wonderful to see so many people coming together, connecting with one another, and enjoying the vibrant campus atmosphere.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and to all those who assisted in making the event such a success. Your enthusiasm, support, and involvement helped create a welcoming and energetic environment for the start of the semester.
