Our students had a fantastic time representing The Crescent School at the School Sport Unit Tenpin Bowling Competition for Students with Disability!

Public Education Week (3–7 August 2026) celebrates this year's theme, Inspiring Excellence.

We're proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of NSW public schools and look forward to coming together with the Goulburn Community of Public Schools this Wednesday for the annual GCoPs Concert.

🥁 What a fantastic term of music! 🎶

Our students have loved working with Steve each week, exploring rhythm and percussion instruments, and making music together. It's been wonderful to see their confidence and enjoyment grow with every session.

A huge thank you to Steve for sharing his passion and expertise with us. We can't wait to continue working with him next term as we begin our Drama program! 🎭💙

🌻 Disability Recognition Week 🌻

This week, our school recognised Disability Recognition Week (18–22 May 2026), a NSW Department of Education initiative that celebrates and supports people with disability while promoting inclusive and supportive school communities.

Throughout the week, students and staff learnt about hidden disabilities and recognised that not all challenges are visible. Together, we explored the importance of empathy, understanding, and kindness while celebrating a school community where every student is valued, supported, and encouraged to shine in their own unique way. 💛

This week, MM4 went behind the scenes at Woolworths with Jason, the Produce Manager. 🍎🥦

The boys learnt about stock rotation, food safety, storage, online orders, and how the cool room and back dock operate, skills they can continue using back at The Crescent School’s Mini Woolies program. 🛒

A huge thank you to Jason and the Woolworths team for such a valuable real-world learning experience! 👏
