🌟 Class Spotlight ~ KL 🌟

We had a wonderful week of learning in KL!

We had so much fun dressing up on our super hero day!

During our literacy lessons we have been learning to use our letters and sounds to read and write words and sentences. We have been reading the book β€˜Chip’ by Kylie Howarth and worked in groups to draw parts of the story.

As part of our maths unit we have been learning to find smaller numbers in bigger numbers and to represent them as two parts that form the whole number. We made lady bugs to demonstrate this concept.

During science we have been learning about the way things move. This week we made our own spinners and tested them on different surfaces.

⭐️ Class Spotlight ⭐️

School Leaders

Today, our friendly school leadership team volunteered to support our local CWA and the national Eat Up Cheese Sandwich program who provide free school lunches to our local community. At 7:30am they became involved with a wonderful group of volunteers to make a record breaking 1005 cheese sandwiches for our local schools!! Well done leaders, giving back to the community and creating important partnerships with our local volunteers supporting us. We can’t wait to go back in July …. Even when it means an early start!
