DRIVER TRAINING.

Class 369 were out on the track this week at the Academy's Police Driver Training complex.

The Police Driver Training complex is a purpose-built facility where students develop the advanced driving skills needed for frontline policing.

As part of the Constable Education Program, every Student Police Officer at the Academy conducts the 'Silver Response Course'.

The NSW Police Academy – McDermott Drive, Goulburn – wishes to advise neighbouring residents of a training exercise being conducted this Saturday.

The exercise will be conducted between 9am and 3pm and between 6pm and 6.45pm tomorrow Saturday 20 June 2026.

Residents are advised there may be intermittent loud noises occurring within the grounds of the Academy as part of these essential police training exercise.

Strict safety protocols will be adhered to at all times.

There is no risk to the public.

The exercise will be conducted between 8am and 5.30pm.

Residents are advised there may be intermittent loud noises occurring within Kenmore Hospital on Taralga Road, Goulburn.

Strict safety protocols will be adhered to at all times.

There is no risk to the public.

Today is Intergenerational Day. At the NSW Police Academy, we recognise and celebrate the diversity of age amongst our students and staff.

There are four generations represented across the NSW Police Force, and Student Police Officers from Class 369 range from ages 18 to 58.

Whilst there are differences across generations, we all wear the same uniform. Same badge. Different generations.

THE FIRST FOUR WEEKS.

Class 369 Student Police Officers have completed their first four weeks at the NSW Police Academy.

During the past month, the students have been immersed in foundational practical training designed to provide them skills required to work as a police officer within the community.

👮 ADAP REVISED COMMENCEMENT DATES 👮

The NSW Police Force have added an extra Academy Class! This will allow more Police to join the NSW Police Force and strengthen our frontline. The commencement date for ADAP Class 371 will be Sunday 5 July 2026.

Partnered with Western Sydney University, our students will undertake the Constable Education Program, giving recruits the skills and knowledge to become a police officer. 👮

When you join the NSW Police Force you start working towards an Associate Degree in Applied Policing and get paid to train to start your career with the NSW Police Force. 🚔💙

Applications are open to the NSW Police Force are open year-round. When you apply, you will be placed in the next available class pending availability.
