The NSW Police Academy – McDermott Drive, Goulburn – wishes to advise neighbouring residents of a training exercise being conducted today Thursday 27th of August 2026.
The exercise will be conducted between 8am and 5.30pm.
Residents are advised there may be intermittent loud noises occurring within Kenmore Hospital on Taralga Road, Goulburn.
Strict safety protocols will be adhered to at all times.
There is no risk to the public.

PATCH RUN
Class 370 completed their 'Patch Run' today and were presented with the student rank insignia, cap badges and cap bands, earning the privilege to wear the NSW Police uniform for the first time.
This run was dedicated to the memory of Sergeant 3rd Class Allen Nash QPM (1916-1956), who was killed as a result of gunshot wounds sustained on duty in Wollongong in 1956.
Also in attendance were members of Nash's family and colleague Chief Inspector Kevin Parsons APM (retired).

Class 370 have officially begun their training at the NSW Police Academy.
The students were welcomed by the Commander, Chief Superintendent John Klepczarek APM, and were introduced to life at the Academy.

With less than 24 hours to go until their attestation parade, Class 369 have just completed their final rehearsal and judging of the 'Drill Shield' award by Deputy Commissioner Dean Smith APM.
All staff at the NSW Police Academy wish the members of Class 369 the best of luck with their attestation parade tomorrow.

Today, the Western Sydney University flag was raised for the first time at the NSW Police Academy, signifying the strong bond between the Academy and our new education partner.
The flag was blessed by the Padre, before being raised by Professor Jason Pandya-Wood, Dean of School of Social Sciences, and Deputy Commissioner Dean Smith APM, Deputy Commissioner for Corporate Services.
Join us live this Friday we celebrate the graduation and attestation of Class 369 and Professional Mobility Program four at the NSW Police Academy.

POLAR PLUNGE.
Yesterday, students from Class 369 alongside staff from the NSW Police Academy, The Hume Police District, Western Sydney University, and NSW SES - Goulburn Unit conducted the Academy's annual Polar Plunge in support of Law Enforcement Torch Run (NSW) for Special Olympics.
The Class raised a whopping total of $33,219 to support the State's Special Olympics athletes with intellectual disabilities and autism as part of the Law Enforcement Torch Run campaign.
We are incredibly proud of the students for their fundraising and support of such an important cause.
