Our Northern Lights students had a fantastic day getting active and having a go at a range of sports at the multi-sport day!

It was a wonderful opportunity to try new activities, build confidence and enjoy being part of a supportive and inclusive sporting environment. πŸ’™

πŸ’™ Friendship at Footsteps πŸ’™

Pearl had a wonderful time at Footsteps Dance, and these photos capture more than just some great dance moves! πŸ’ƒπŸ•Ί

There were plenty of smiles, laughs and great moments shared between friends as students danced, encouraged each other and enjoyed being together.

Learning, dancing and making memories with friends! πŸ’™βœ¨

πŸ’™ Kindness in Action πŸ’™

A big shout-out to these wonderful students who saw Ali packing up the hall and jumped straight in to lend a hand! πŸ™Œ

No one had to ask β€” they simply noticed there was a job to be done and worked together to help get everything packed away.

A great example of kindness, teamwork and connection in action. πŸ’™πŸ’›

Thank you for being such thoughtful helpers! ⭐

🧡🧱 Creating Connections πŸ’™πŸ’›

There was plenty of creativity happening during the Smith Family learning hub program!

Students tried their hand at sewing, creating some very cute felt friends, while others worked away on some impressive LEGO builds. 🐰πŸ₯🧱

It was wonderful to see students learning new skills, sharing ideas, helping one another and connecting through hands-on experiences.

πŸ’™ Kindness in Action! πŸ’›

Our Northern Lights students have been busy in their cooking program, building skills, working together and creating something delicious! πŸ₯ͺπŸ‘©β€πŸ³πŸ‘¨β€πŸ³

But the best part? Sharing what they made with others! πŸ₯°

It was wonderful to see our students proudly offering their creations around and showing that kindness can be as simple as making something and sharing it with someone else.

✨ Cooking, connecting and spreading kindness β€” Northern Lights style! ✨

πŸ† DEBATING SUCCESS! πŸ†

What an incredible achievement from our debating team! πŸ’™πŸ’›

After finishing top of the leaderboard for the Illawarra and South East Super Zone 2, our team progressed to the Regional Knockout Finals β€” and they’ve now won their first finals round! πŸŽ‰πŸ‘

Our school was the affirmative team, successfully arguing the topic:

πŸ’¬ β€œThat primary teachers should set a research project as homework over every school holiday.”

With another fantastic win under their belts, our debaters will now progress to the next knockout round! 🌟

We are incredibly proud of the confidence, teamwork, preparation and quick thinking our students continue to demonstrate.

Congratulations team, and good luck in the next round! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ†
