In joining our community on Facebook, Gosford High School follows the Department of Education Code of Conduct and Facebook's Community Standards. Facebook Terms and Conditions states no one under the age of 13 years should have a Facebook profile. Photos of students can only bepublished if the correct Department of Education permission to publish forms have been comple

ted by thestudent’s parent or guardian. The photo must be removed after one year of publishing unless further permission from the parent is sought. For privacy and protection, please do not tag photos of children, and please do not name them in your comments, unless the previously mentioned permissions is sought.On rare occasions and with parental permission, students may be named by the school Facebook administration team. Tagging of parents or friends within the comment box is permitted with the understanding that all other rules of engagement are followed. Comments

This week Athena in Year 8 and Yevin in Year 7 organised for senior students to present a study skills workshop to junior students in Years 7-9. The workshop was fun and interactive and there was a Q&A with the senior students in which they were asked by the juniors about their most helpful study tips and methods.

A huge congratulations to Sami and Netra who celebrated their achievements in the Max Potential Program at Gosford RSL last Thursday.

Max Potential is a youth leadership and personal development program that empowers young people to reach their full potential. As part of this, Sami and Netra completed a community service project which they shared with guests at the celebration.

We are so proud of everything you've accomplished and can't wait to see what you achieve next. Well done!

Congratulations to Cadyn, Alphonso, Seb, Kelvin, and William who performing as "Anaphylaxis" won the 2026 Battle of the Bands. They were presented with the famous guitar trophy at Assembly. Well done to all bands who took part in this year's high-quality competition and thank you to the P&C for their sponsorship of the trophy.
