Learning starts with engagement.
When students are engaged, they're more likely to listen, participate and remember.
After taking part in Smashed, 87% of students said it was a good way to learn about underage drinking.
By combining live performance with interactive discussion, Smashed creates an experience that students connect with—and remember.

Engagement isn't a bonus—it's where learning begins.

Young people don't learn best by simply listening—they learn by taking part.
That's why every Gibber programme combines live performance with interactive discussion, giving students the opportunity to question, reflect and contribute.
When students are actively involved, learning becomes more engaging, more memorable and more meaningful.
Because the best learning isn't something students watch—it's something they experience.
That's why Theatre in Education works.

The people who see the impact first are the teachers.

Every day, teachers look for engaging ways to start meaningful conversations with their students.

After experiencing Smashed, 100% of teachers surveyed rated the programme as well produced and professionally presented.
When educators trust a programme, they can focus on what matters most—supporting their students.

Real conversations. Real engagement. Real impact.

Call it out uses live theatre and interactive discussion to open up important conversations about consent and respectful relationships with young people.

Rather than simply telling students what they should think, the programme gives them the opportunity to explore realistic situations, question behaviours and discuss what healthy, respectful relationships look like.

And as the feedback in this video shows, students respond.

Call it out is designed for Years 9–11 and is available to schools across Australia.

Over the past 12 months, more than 45,000 students across Australia have experienced Smashed.
Through live theatre and interactive workshops, students are encouraged to think critically about underage drinking, challenge social pressures and make informed choices.
Every performance is another opportunity to start conversations that can make a lasting difference.
