“Protect breastfeeding: a shared responsibility” 🤱🏼
I am incredibly grateful for the support I had in my breastfeeding journey. It wasn’t always easy…low supply, slow weight gain, tongue ties, returning to work after 4 months which meant pumping and stressing about having enough milk expressed. I had support from the beginning with the fantastic midwives and health nurses at Gosford hospital and central coast health and then from my family and friends. My husband was an amazing support the whole 18 months I fed both my boys. He always made sure I had a comfy spot to feed, a bottle of water and snacks. And if we were out, he cut my food and made sure I was comfortable and then organized all the expressed milk so he could bottle feed the boys when I was at work. 👨🏽🍼
