Welcome to our
extended family comprising of myself, Nadine (Educator) and our family day care children. Philosophy
To provide an environment where educator, parents and children can communicate openly, implementing an antibias program that encourages self-esteem in children while allowing them to develop individually.
* To provide a stimulating home environment where children can establish a warm and caring relationship conducive to their learning.
* To encourage children to accept responsibility and develop independence through providing limits and allowing children to make decisions. This is done by making children aware of the rules (listed below) and limits and by setting up different programmed activities weekly, offering variety while allowing children choices.

Our basic routine is:-
Programmed activities &/or outings
Sing time … with Nursery Rhyme dice
Includes ‘ Today is…’ ‘ The Weather is…’
Morning tea (includes recycling)
Programmed activities / Art and craft
Lunch - Story
Rest / sleeptime / school readiness programme
Afternoon tea / games / free play
Children like to play, through this they gain experience in all developmental areas -physical, cognitive, creative, language, social/emotional.

Program
Our program incorporates ‘Belonging, Being & Becoming - The Early Years Learning Framework for Australia’ as well as National Quality Standards, by providing learning areas/activities that are age appropriate for all children in care, including pre-school and school readiness program for children 3 - 5 yrs. Our services are licensed by Community Services and operates under the NSW Children's Services Regulations 2004. The program is done monthly allowing children the opportunity to explore all activities. Programming is initiated from the children’s interest giving a basis for crafts, stories etc while expanding their learning and development.. Our program is displayed using photos of the children to enhance the learning stories (photos uploaded to Facebook).

What to bring every day -
* Complete change of clothes.
* A healthy lunch/dinner (if supplying).
* For under two's - bottles, nappies

Our Rules
* Certain parts of the house are set aside for our immediate family only.
* WE ENCOURAGE NO TOYS TO BE BROUGHT OTHER THAN COMFORT TOYS.
* Contracted hours of care are to be kept to unless otherwise organized with Educator. Please phone if require earlier start or late pick-up or if child is going to be away / late.
* Children are to be signed in daily on arrival by authorized adults only and out on departure. Electronic timesheets will be emailed at end of week for approval.
* Please do not allow children to open gate. On pick-up your child is your full responsibility once you have exited the gate (front door when wet).
