Last night we came together to celebrate an amazing year of learning and growth, the strengthening of relationships and the collaborative partnerships we have nurtured across 2022.

We laughed, we mingled and we danced the night away with our children in the Kindy room disco . 🪩

Today we celebrated Early Childhood Educators' Day at JK Gordonvale 🥰

Early Childhood Educator’s Day recognises and celebrates the work of Australia's educators in early learning services for their wonderful contribution to the wellbeing and healthy development of the young children in their care.

We truly have an amazing team of Educators, and it was a pleasure to celebrate them individually and collectively today!

❤️🧡💛 Love Makes A Family 💛🧡❤️

This morning we welcomed the special adults in our life into JK Gordonvale as we celebrated “Love Makes A Family” together.

A special thanks to those brave Dads who completely emersed themselves in the shared activities and free play with their children. The coffee van was kept busy, as were the children operating our “Gruffalo Cafe” outside the Kindy room.

It was a beautiful morning spent together as we appreciate the importance and beauty of connection.

📚 Book Week DRESS UP DAY 📚

Children and Educators had so much fun today, dressing up to bring our favourite book characters to life. 🦸🏼‍♂️ 🧚‍♀️ 🤠 We heard many conversations about characters and books, and saw an increase in co-operative and imaginative play today.

Children learn best when having fun and being emersed in engaging activities.

Grounding learning in care, relationships and well-being… It’s the JK Way!

📚 Book Week in our Toddler room 🤩

Miss Jodie, Miss Gabby, and Miss Laura have been focusing on rhyming books and songs. From a developmental perspective, rhymes are a wonderful way to encourage and support early literacy skills for one and two year olds.

Old McDonald was the most requested favourite 🎶 📚 🐶🐱🐰🐷
