🚜🌾 TRACTOR TIME AT MAYFIELD! 🌾🚜

There was plenty of excitement at Mayfield today as we welcomed a very special visitor during the middle of our local cane-cutting season! 🌱🚜

A huge THANK YOU to Nadine Greenwood and her family for bringing in their family tractor and cane bin for all our friends to see! 💚

Nadine also brought along some freshly harvested sugar cane to show the children, giving them a wonderful opportunity to see and learn about the journey of sugar cane right here in our local community. 🌾

There’s something so special about learning through real-life experiences and connecting our children with the people, places and industries that make Gordonvale such a wonderful place to grow up. ❤️

From seeing the machinery in action to holding the harvested cane, today was a hands-on learning experience our little friends won’t forget!

Thank you, Nadine and family, for sharing a little piece of local cane-farming life with us! 🚜🌾💚

🎉✨ What an amazing day at Under 8’s Day! ✨🎉

Today, our Pre Prep children enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Gordonvale State School to celebrate Under 8’s Day!

The excitement started well before we arrived, with our Pre Prep class eagerly walking across to the school together, chatting about all the fun that awaited them.

Our children had an absolute ball exploring the exciting activities on offer, making new discoveries, playing on the big playground, and seeing a busy school in action. There were smiles, laughter, and lots of opportunities to learn through play alongside the local community.

A big thank you to Gordonvale State School for hosting such a fun and engaging event. Experiences like these help our children develop confidence, create positive connections within our community, and get excited about their transition to school. 🏫 😊

🦷✨ Dental Health Week ✨🦷

What a magical morning we had welcoming the Dental Fairy to Mayfield Gordonvale 🧚‍♀️💙

Our children had so much fun learning all about the importance of keeping our teeth and mouths healthy. We chatted about why it’s important to visit the dentist regularly, how to brush our teeth properly and how choosing healthy foods keeps our whole bodies strong.

Hands on experiences like these are such a wonderful way to build children’s confidence, encourage healthy habits from an early age, and make learning about self-care fun and engaging.

A huge thank you to our wonderful local dental team - Katelyn and Sarah from Pyramid Family Dental for taking the time to visit us and helping make Dental Health Week such a fun, educational, and memorable experience. We can’t wait to keep practising our healthy smiles! 🦷✨

Today our Mayfield Gordonvale family swapped their everyday clothes for their comfiest, cosiest pyjamas to support National Pyjama Day! 🌟

Not only are we having lots of fun in our fluffy slippers, colourful PJs and cosy onesies, but we’re also helping raise awareness and support for children living in foster care across Australia. 💙

🎵 A big thank you to Narelle from Buzz Music for visiting us and sharing her love of music with our children!

Our little learners had so much fun exploring different beats, creating rhythms, singing, moving, and making music together.
These experiences are about so much more than having fun, they help children develop listening skills, coordination, language, memory, creativity, confidence, and self-expression.

🍃💚 With the cooler weather upon us, our Toddler friends enjoyed a restful sleep outdoors today.
