A pottery workshop for cosy afternoons and candlelit evenings ✨

Join us at Wildwoods Studio in the forested Perth foothills for our Cake & Clay: Table Lanterns workshop, back by popular demand!

Create and decorate your own ceramic table lantern to add beautiful, soft patterns of light and a little magic to your space.

No experience needed, this workshop is beginner-friendly and we’ll guide you every step of the way.

And because no creative afternoon is complete without something sweet, enjoy a selection of cakes and other sweet treats, served with tea and coffee as you create 🍰

A pottery workshop for grown-ups who still believe in a little magic ✨

Join us in the forest at Wildwoods Studio for our Cake & Clay: Fairy Houses workshop, designed to bring some more whimsy to your life 🌸

This workshop is for those drawn to mossy paths, tiny doors, and wandering through garden centres for a bit too long🌿👀

This session is best suited to those with some prior pottery experience (such as a previous workshop or time working with clay).

And because no magical afternoon is complete without something sweet, enjoy a selection of cakes and other sweet treats, served with tea and coffee as you create ☕🍰

There’s a quiet shift that happens over an afternoon of clay.

We often hear guests say they’re “not very creative” when they arrive, and it’s a pleasure watching confidence grow as the afternoon unfolds.

We begin with clear, step-by-step guidance so everyone feels grounded and confident. Then, once the basics are in place, you’re given space to personalise your piece and make it your own.

It’s a relaxed afternoon of:
👐 hand-building with moulds
🎨 decorating and under-glazing on the day
☕ cake, tea, and a calm, welcoming studio atmosphere

Find out how your masterpiece comes to life at Wildwoods Studio, step by step 🌿👣

1. Handbuilding using moulds for support
2. Eat some cheese 🙈
3. Decorating & underglazing on the day to make your piece your own
4. Drying & first firing in our on-site kiln, + dip glazing for strength & a beautiful finish
5. A final firing in the kiln
6. Your masterpiece is ready to take home!

Pottery takes time, but it's all part of the magic 💚✨

Our workshops are beginner friendly, with small class sizes to make you get all the guidance you need.
