What a joy to welcome our Kindy grandparents and special friends today!

Our Kindy students were beaming with excitement as they welcomed their loved ones into their classrooms for a morning of games, laughter, and special moments together. Everyone then gathered in the Grace Centre for a sweet, heartfelt song performance.

Thank you to all the grandparents and special friends who joined us to make this morning so memorable. We are deeply grateful for the love, encouragement, and faithful presence you bring to our College family!

School days may be done, but the memories, friendships, and foundation built here will last a lifetime.

Looking back on Graduation Day, we are filled with joy and gratitude for this incredible cohort. From laughter shared across campus to quiet moments of reflection, it was a true celebration of all our Year 12s have achieved and the wonderful people they have become.

To our Class of 2026: you have finished this chapter with strength, grace, and joy. As you step out into the world, walk with your heads held high and hearts full of hope, knowing God has extraordinary things in store for each of you.

Whether you've been here since Trindy or joined more recently, Graduating Class of 2026, we are so blessed to have had you as part of our College family.

As our Year 12 cohort completes their final school days, we celebrate not just what they have accomplished academically, but the incredible people they have become. Seeing them step out into hope-filled futures, grounded in faith, character, and purpose, is what our College community is all about.

There's still time to join in! This free, alcohol-free community festival brings churches and families from across our region together for live worship, inspiring speakers, food and fun.
📅 Friday & Saturday: Gates open 3pm, kids program 4pm, main event 6pm
☀️ Sunday: All-churches celebration from 9am
🛹 Ages 12–25: A dedicated youth event Fri & Sat, with bands, a skate park, jumping castles and a free BBQ

True leadership isn't about a title but about serving others and leading with purpose.

This week, we proudly inducted our 2027 Secondary Leaders into their new roles! Anchored in our Christ Centred values, these students are stepping up to guide, support, and inspire our College community through their leadership.

We were privileged to have Rebekka Battista join us as our keynote speaker, inspiring our emerging leaders with valuable wisdom on what it means to lead with a servant heart.

Being a leader at Summerland Christian College means embodying The Living Word and shaping choices through integrity, humility, and wisdom, and using individual gifts to uplift those around them. We are excited to see how each of these leaders will make a lasting impact, encourage their peers, and help foster a thriving College culture over the coming year.

Learning about community helpers starts early! Today, our Trindy and Kindy students had a special visitor from some of our local police officers!

The children had a fantastic time learning all about the important role Police play in keeping our community safe. Highlights of the day included getting hands-on experience by trying on real police vests and handcuffs, checking out the emergency gear, and exploring the inside of police vehicles.

It was a wonderful morning of interactive learning, big smiles, and discovering how we can all look after one another. A huge thank you to the officers who took the time to visit and connect with our youngest learners!
