Sand, Sensory Play & Smiling Faces!

There’s nothing quite like the joy of sand play! From digging and building to creating imaginative worlds, our Kindy children have been busy exploring, collaborating, and having fun in the sandpit.

Through play, children develop creativity, problem-solving skills, fine motor strength, and social connections, all while enjoying the great outdoors.

Friendships & Role Play

There’s nothing quite like watching friendships grow through play! Through role play, our little learners practise sharing, taking turns, using their imaginations, and working together. From cafés to home corners and everything in between, special friendships are formed while learning valuable social skills along the way.

Dig, plant, water, repeat!

Our children had a fantastic time planting new additions to our garden. There were plenty of smiles, muddy hands, and lots of excitement as they helped make our outdoor space even more beautiful.

We can't wait to see their hard work blossom!

**How to Cut Down on Screen Time After School Holidays**

If you’re looking to help kids reduce their screen time after school holidays, here are some friendly tips to make it easier:

1. Set Clear Screen Time Limits: Try creating daily or weekly limits for screen use. After those long holidays, it’s easy for kids to spend more time in front of screens.

2. Encourage Fun Offline Activities: Swap out screen time for exciting activities like reading, playing sports outside, or exploring creative hobbies. There’s so much fun to be had away from screens!

3. Create Screen-Free Zones: Designate special areas in your home where screens are off-limits—like bedrooms or the dinner table. It helps keep the focus on family time and relaxation.

4. Lead by Example: Show how you balance your own screen time. When kids see you enjoying other activities, they're more likely to follow your lead.

5. Talk About It: Have open discussions about how too much screen time can affect health and well-being. Kids are more likely to understand when they know the reasons behind it!

By using these friendly strategies, you can help kids build healthier screen habits and enjoy their time after school holidays even more!
