If anyone is interested in doing their CPR course, we are hosting one at Goombungee Little Folks Group on Tuesday 15th September at 3.30pm. The cost will be $70 facilitated by Top of the Range First Aid. Please email [email protected] if you are interested so I can send you the link to register.

Today we visited the QCWA Goombungee Branch where we learnt how to make scones. We had a fabulous time!! We love interacting with other community groups in our local area. Thank you lovely ladies❤️....the scones were delicious😋Would you like the recipe??? It might just be in the GLFG 50th Anniversary Memoribilia and Recipe book!! We are feeling very blessed to be supported by those around us! Last week we were gifted a beautiful quilt made by The Craft Nest Sewing Club (delivered by Sue) to be raffled at our 50th Anniversary celebration on Saturday the 10th October 2026. Also, we attended the Lions Club of Crows Nest dinner on Thursday night to be presented with a $500 donation. This will go towards entertainment costs for our special day. Thanks again, we truly appreciate it!!

Goombungee Little Folks do lots of fundraising each year and each year we put that hard earned money directly back into the kindy in the way of resourses, repairs and maintanence, or improvements. This year we have spent over $20000 on new outdoor blinds and new softfall (our village green). How good does it look? We LOVE it!!!!

Today the Goombungee Little Folks Group hosted the Australia's Biggest Morning Tea..... our way of giving back and supporting those in our kindergarten family and community, who's lives have been touched by cancer. Thanks to everyone who supported by attending and those who donated prizes for our raffles. We have very generous people amongst us❤️. We are proud to say we raised $921 which will be donated to Cancer Council.
