We had the most beautiful day at Unique Highland Experiences on Saturday for our staff Christmas party.
Amy, Ben and Sandra went above to make the whole day magical. And of course, the real star of the show was handsome little Rocky, proudly leading the way.

The set-up was absolutely gorgeous, every detail thought of, and the backdrop was straight out of a postcard. Surrounded by rolling hills, fresh air and those stunning highland cows. The cows definitely stole a few hearts.

Our team had such an incredible time — laughing, relaxing, and soaking in the whole experience. It was one of those days where everything just felt easy and special.

A massive thank you to the team for creating such a unique and beautiful day for us. You made our Christmas party one to remember, and we couldn’t recommend Unique Highland Experiences more. If you’re thinking about booking… do it. You’ll have the best time! 🎄🐮✨

A Day to Celebrate Our Amazing Directors

Today, we pause to say thank you to our incredible Directors here at Playalong.

Your leadership, dedication, and heart are the glue that holds everything together. You are the calm in the chaos.

We see it all, the mountains of paperwork, the after-hours emails, the 3 a.m. notes-to-self, the early morning rostering changes, and the endless problem-solving through all the constant changes this world keeps giving us.
We see the countless invisible acts that make our service run smoothly, even when the days are unpredictable and full of surprises.

Today, we celebrate you for your patience, your compassion, your vision, and the countless ways you go above and beyond to make Playalong the warm, wonderful place it is.

Thank you for everything you do, every single day. You are truly appreciated. ❤️

The Kindy children were lucky enough to utilize the amazing nature play space at Gympie East State School.

We had so much fun exploring the amazing bases the school children had built—then it was our turn to get creative and make our own.

We ran, jumped, played in the leaves, built tiny houses and had so much fun!

Our walking track Artwork for 2025 Little Kids Day Out Gympie If you are around this weekend go check it out! 9th August 11am to 3pm
Beautiful artwork by all of our children! Theme being 'Lets Celebrate' 10 Years of LKDO!

FREE annual community event held in the Gympie Pavilion building and grounds, Exhibition Road, Southside. The event is organised by a committee of local volunteers to connect families with services and promote the importance of the early years and parents role in supporting their child’s development.

With over three hundred local volunteers this free annual event aims to improve the early development of Gympie Region’s young children by providing information and connecting local families with service providers, support services, sporting clubs, schools, early learning centres, singing and dance studios and businesses in a fun play-based environment. The event includes over sixty FREE performances, activities & info stalls. BYO picnic lunch & water bottle or purchase from food vans. LKDO has a healthy foods policy and promotes drinking water.
