Anoeba - Gothic Fusion Dance

🔥Beginning this year with a haunting and mournful version of Bananarama's Cruel Summer (you read that right) covered by the glorious Chløë Black

This is an Open Level choreography meaning beginners are welcome and encouraged to join, and experienced dancers can refine their craft. Dancers will learn and hone gothic fusion bellydance technique whilst exploring movement that is emotional and at times cathartic. Expect my usual sombre style of choreography here (no expectation to perform).

Begins 16th February (10 week term) at $130 for a full term, or $20 for a casual class.

This class will be online only due to life getting in the way. Our usual studio also has a busy Fringe season up ahead (check them out Goodwood Theatre & Studios) so we will be switching to online temporarily.
My online classes are known for having clear audio (as testimony from my online students) and you are welcome to attend without video if preferred.

Term 4 classes (5 week half-term) begins October 13th!

Next term will be a special 5 week edition!

All humans, bodies and abilities welcome.

🥀 6-7pm we will be dancing to Sometimes by Garbage, a nice slow but gritty choreo.
Intermediate-advanced level recommended with some knowledge of dance, but all welcome. No expectation to know the choreo or perform it.

🥀 7-8pm will be gothic improvisation, using the Mandragora Gothic Improvisation Format.
Very beginner friendly / open level. No choreography- just move combinations you can use at leisure to any song you like. Beginners encouraged!
