🌿 Term 3 Wellbeing Day 🎣

Today we spent a beautiful day down at the Culgoa River for our Term 3 Wellbeing Day! ☀️

Our students enjoyed a day full of fishing, bush walking, cooking and, of course, sharing a feed together. It was a warm but beautiful day, filled with plenty of laughs, good food and great company.

There’s something special about being out on Country, where our kids are happiest and have the most fun. ❤️🌿

A big thank you to our wonderful Wellbeing Team for organising such a fantastic day and creating opportunities for our students to connect and enjoy being together.

Celebrating two birthdays! Happy birthday Cheslin and Zakai 🎉

Last term, following the Young Leaders of the West Camp, Millyn and Tazeke were challenged to create a sustainability initiative at school.

They established our Gardening Club, restored our garden beds and planted a variety of vegetables, with the goal of providing fresh produce for our school and wider community. 🌿

Today, we harvested our first crop of lettuce, which will be used for tomorrow’s Father’s Day afternoon tea! We also harvested some delicious turnips and have spinach growing beautifully. 🥬🌱

The students are hoping to continue planting and growing more vegetables throughout spring, so stay tuned for what’s next!

A fantastic example of student leadership, sustainability and giving back to our community. 💚

Well done, Primary! 👏🌿

🏃‍♀️✨ Moving More with Million Moves ✨🏃‍♂️

This September, our Primary students are getting active and joining Million Moves — a free national physical activity initiative powered by AUSactive and supported by the Australian Sports Commission.

Our students have made a fantastic commitment to move more each day by staying back for an extra 20 minutes every afternoon. Today was our first day and they played handball!

We’re excited to see our students building healthy habits, having fun and encouraging one another to be active.

🌟 Move more. Feel better. Together. 🌟

Million Moves is powered by AUSactive and supported by the Australian Sports Commission through the Play Well Affiliate Grant Program.
