On Wednesday, we came together as a team to strengthen our knowledge, understanding and confidence around child protection and our important responsibilities as educators.

A huge thank you to Michael from In Safe Hands for taking the time to come and work with our team. Your knowledge, experience and practical approach provided us with valuable information and important opportunities for reflection and discussion.

Child safety is everyone’s responsibility, and ongoing professional learning is an important part of ensuring we are confident, informed and prepared to recognise, respond to and protect children from harm.

It’s time for our children to have their say! 🗳️💕

We’re giving the children the opportunity to vote for their favourite lunch option and have a voice in what appears on our menu! 🍝🍽️

🍝 How to vote:
Simply take ONE piece of pasta and place it into the cup next to the lunch option you would like to see on the menu.

Each piece of pasta = ONE VOTE! 🙌

But why are we doing this? 🤔
Giving children opportunities to make choices helps build confidence, independence and decision-making skills. It also teaches them that their opinions matter and that they can have an active role in making decisions that affect them. 🌟

It’s a fun, hands-on way for our children to practise counting, voting and expressing their preferences — all while having a little fun! 🥰

Let’s see which lunch comes out on top! 🏆🍽️
