Currawah Aboriginal Education Centre serves the Aboriginal people of the Orana and greater Western Region of NSW. The school is situated 50km south of Brewarrina on Arthur Hall VC Way. The school is a member of the Association of Independent Schools and has a close relationship with Seventh-day Adventist Education.

It is with much sadness that we wish to share with our extended Currawah community that we've lost one of our very own.
Mrs Ana Onorua passed away yesterday in a fatal car accident.
Ana was a dorm parent at Currawah between 2018-2019.
Ana was survived by her husband Seci and daughter Pu Vini

This has become a great shock to us and as the days goes by and we continue on, we encourage one another to hold our family close and make peace with our Maker. We never know when the day could be our last
