Congratulations to Lachlan T (Year 12), who placed 6th in the U19 Men's division at the 2026 AusCycling Gravel National Championships in Mount Crawford Forest. Achieving this result in such treacherous conditions is a remarkable effort. π΅ββοΈπ¨
In other talents, Edison D (Year 7), Imogen S (Year 4) and Lydia D (Year 4) starred in Now Productions' performance of Alice in Wonderland Jr. at the Shedley Theatre. Edison played the Mad Hatter, Lydia played the Cheshire Cat, and Imogen played Daisy and the Ace of Spades. π©π

What an adventure Year 7 campers have had this week! While rain may have cut the camping short, students tackled activities with incredible resilience, enthusiasm and positivity. π§οΈπ§
The traditional activities of bike riding, billy cart making, the giant swing and zipline provided the usual excitement and fun despite the rain. The indoor visits to Melbaβs Chocolates and Mt Lofty Summit were an added highlight! π«β°οΈ
Students from Camp 1 enjoyed activities in the Blue Gum Sports Centre today, finishing their camp experience on a high! Camp 2 students look forward to three action-packed day trips to Woodhouse. βΊβ¨

We officially opened the Catford Building earlier this month. It was wonderful to welcome the community into Catford, having achieved practical completion late in 2025. Catford is our new βhome at schoolβ for Senior School students. Named in honour of our founding Principal, Geoff Catford, and his family, Catford now stands as a centrepiece of our campus. ποΈβ¨πβ€οΈ

Year 4 students participated in their Challenge Day on Thursday, focusing on developing essential skills in teamwork and problem-solving. π§ π€
Groups worked collaboratively to tackle a variety of unique and hands-on tasks including filling a water tower, a VEX Go Build, Magic Carpet, Ball Pass and more. π οΈπββοΈ
It was fantastic to see the students communicating effectively, thinking critically and supporting one another to achieve success throughout the day. ππ

The organisation leads major campaigns in critical areas such as climate action, nature protection, food accountability and protecting native wildlife and habitats. π³π¦
This inspiring initiative was driven by a passionate group of Middle School students, and we commend the cohort for the proactive way they led this initiative! πβ¨

Year 4 students returned from an unforgettable two-day experience at BaptistCare's Mylor Adventure Camp in the Adelaide Hills yesterday. π§ββοΈπ²Students brought incredible positivity and enthusiasm to every challenge, cheering each other on across a multitude of activities. Highlights included the Flying Fox, the Low Ropes course, a giant scavenger hunt and the bouldering wall. π§ββοΈπSharing dorms with friends provided a wonderful opportunity for connection, teamwork and plenty of late-night conversation. βΊβ¨

On Friday, 12 June, students across Reception-Year 12 will participate in the Term 2 Casual Clothes Day in support of the Australian Conservation Foundation.
The organisation leads crucial campaigns focused on climate action, nature protection, food accountability and habitat conservation. π±
Students are encouraged to wear a touch of green and to bring a $2.00 gold coin donation on the day. Alternatively, all donations are welcome and can be made via the Qkr! App under College Events: Casual Clothes Day. πͺπ±
