It's National Science Week! 🔬

Our Environmental Consultant, Connor, enjoyed speaking to Robina State High School students about his work and journey into his STEM career. The students were particularly inspired by Connor's work installing nestboxes.

The Greenheart Cluster STEM Competition for Science Week theme was 'Seeds of Science: nuturing science for all'. The theme invites students across Australia to explore the power of curiosity, inquiry and shared learning in growing scientific understanding.

💧🐜 Water Bugs with Natura Pacific! 🔬🌿

Celebrate National Science Week with Scenic Rim Libraries and Natura Pacific at a special First 5 Forever session for children aged 1–5 years!

Dive into the wonderful world of water bugs and get hands-on with some fascinating little creatures! Children will explore water bug features, basic needs, simple food chains and field ecology techniques, just like real-life scientists!

They’ll discover how water bugs can tell us an important story about the health of our waterways, and what we can do to help protect them. 💦🌏
