🌊🐢 It’s

All eyes on a healthy ocean this and our favourite native sea turtle - the Loggerhead Sea Turtle🐢

Listed as Endangered in Australia, they face a range of threats both on land and at sea, including climate change, marine debris, habitat disturbance, and nest predation. Despite decades of conservation efforts to protect nesting beaches, populations continue to decline.

But, dedicated conservation programs are making a difference! Actions such as reducing nest predation and protecting nesting sites are helping more hatchlings make their journey from ‘nest to ocean’, giving future generations a better chance to thrive along Queensland beaches.

🦋 It’s !

Today, we're shining a spotlight on one of South East Queensland’s most remarkable native species - the Richmond Birdwing butterfly.

The is now under threat due to habitat loss and the spread of invasive species, particularly the toxic Dutchman’s Pipe vine, which can be fatal to its caterpillars.

However, there are communities and conservation groups working together to restore habitat, plant native Birdwing vines, and help bring this iconic species back from the brink.

Home Sweet Hollow! 🐿️

Our Environmental Consultant, Richard, found these wide awake Sugar Gliders (Petaurus breviceps) settling into one of our recently installed nestboxes.

These nestboxes are a part of an offset monitoring program we regularly assess to help support habitat restoration and native wildlife outcomes. Seeing them already in use is always a rewarding reminder of why this work matters.
