Last week, we were delighted to welcome Optical 2 You to our centre for children's vision screenings.
Regular eye checks play an important role in supporting children's learning, development, and overall wellbeing. The visit provided families with a convenient opportunity to have their child's vision assessed by qualified professionals in a familiar and comfortable environment.
We would like to thank the team at Optical 2 You for their friendly approach and for helping to promote the importance of early eye health and vision care.

🐢 Meet Sheldon, our much-loved centre pet! 🐢
Sheldon is always a source of curiosity, learning, and excitement for the children. Whether he's exploring his habitat, enjoying a snack, or simply relaxing, Sheldon helps us teach responsibility, kindness, and respect for living things.
The children love checking in on him each day and learning more about his unique personality and needs. He has become a very special member of our centre family, bringing smiles and sparking conversations wherever he goes!

🌳☀️ Excursion Fun at Frascott Park! ☀️🌳
Our Kindergarten children enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Frascot Park! The children were excited to explore the playground, practise their climbing and balancing skills, and engage in imaginative play with their friends.
We spent time observing nature, enjoying the fresh air, and developing our social skills through cooperative games and shared experiences. The children showed great listening skills, followed safety expectations, and demonstrated kindness and teamwork throughout the day.
It was fantastic to see their confidence grow as they explored new challenges and connected with their local community. We had lots of smiles, laughter, and memorable moments that made for a very special day!

Our children enjoyed a hands-on healthy eating experience as they practised cutting their own fruit for snack time. Under close supervision, the children developed important life skills, including safe food preparation, fine motor coordination, independence, and confidence.
By encouraging children to participate in preparing healthy foods, we help foster positive relationships with nutritious choices and promote healthy eating habits from an early age. The children were excited to explore different fruits, practise their cutting skills, and enjoy the delicious snacks they prepared themselves.
We are so proud of their enthusiasm, growing independence, and willingness to try new foods. Well done, everyone! 🌟

🌈🖐️ Messy Play Week in Nursery! 🖐️🌈
What a fantastic week of sensory exploration and messy fun we've had in nursery! Our children loved getting hands-on with a variety of exciting activities that encouraged creativity, curiosity, and learning through play.
✨ Monday: We explored cornflour, water, and food colouring, creating colourful, squishy mixtures and discovering different textures.
🎨 Tuesday: The children enjoyed paint exploration on the ground, using their hands and feet to create wonderful masterpieces.
🍓 Wednesday: Jelly play was a big hit! The children investigated the wobbly texture, colours, and sensations of the jelly.
🐾 Thursday: We made our own muddy habitat using cocoa powder and water, then added animals for imaginative small-world play.
🍝 Friday: We finished the week with colourful spaghetti play, encouraging sensory exploration, fine motor skills, and lots of giggles!
Messy play helps children develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, confidence, and sensory awareness while having lots of fun. We are so proud of how enthusiastically everyone joined in throughout the week!
